While she’s new to the Dental industry, she has over 20 years experience as office manager/HR support. Most patients who come through the door become like family and friends to Sandi. When patients have anxiety about their dental appointments, Sandi along with the Junction Park dentistry staff thrive to make them feel at ease. When she’s not working, she loves spending time out on the water and traveling while raising two daughters.

Amy was born and raised in Wilmington. She has been interested in dentistry since a very young age and has worked in the dental field for over 25 years. She enjoys working with the patients and helping them schedule their dental needs. In her free time she enjoys container gardening, reading, and spending time with her husband and family.

Raina was born and raised in Wilmington and completed the Dental Assisting Program at Cape Fear Community College in 2003. She loves being able to put smiles on her patients’ faces. She has worked with Dr. Walker since 2013. She is married with two young daughters. Raina enjoys spending time with family, seeing live music, and photography is a hobby dear to her heart.

With over 25 years of experience as a dental assistant, Georgette brings a deep passion for patient care and a commitment to creating a welcoming, comfortable environment for everyone who walks through our doors. She is a valued part of Dr. Clay Walker’s dental team, where we prioritize both excellence in care and strong community values. Giving back is close to her heart. She regularly participates in charitable initiatives, like Missions of Mercy, providing free dental services to those in need. Outside the office, Georgette loves living by the sea and take full advantage of coastal life—especially surfing and spending time outdoors.
I was able to get in to see Dr. Walker quickly for a problem I was having. Both he and his assistant explained the procedure thoroughly and answered my questions. They are an efficient and kind team.

Portia
Registered Dental Hygienist
Portia is from Wilmington and a graduate of the Cape Fear Community College Dental Hygiene Program. She enjoys spending quality time with her husband and daughter, riding in her Jeep seeing all the beautiful scenery that Cape Fear has to offer. She loves quiet time at home, snuggling with her two bengal cats—Dany and Drogo. Portia is passionate about patient education and stays up-to-date on the latest advances to be able to better serve her patients. As well as an active member of her Association, she is also on the CFCC Dental Hygiene advisory committee.

Originally from Stevens Point, Wisconsin, Lorena is a proud graduate of the dental hygiene program at Fayetteville Technical Community College. With over 15 years experience in the dental field, she brings a well-rounded background that includes roles as a dental hygienist, front desk coordinator and dental assistant. Her passion lies in delivering individualized care to every patient that sits in her chair. Lorena and her husband recently moved back to NC due to his retirement from the military. Together they have a daughter who is married and living in Traverse City, Michigan. Lorena loves spending time with family and their three beloved dogs.

Ashley was born in Clearwater, Florida where she was raised as a Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan! Her journey began as a dental assistant her senior year in high school. She then received her dental hygiene license from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Ashley has over 25 years of dental experience. She’s passionate about helping patients achieve their optimal oral health and believes in a gentle and compassionate approach to dental care and is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest techniques and technology. She is certified in local anesthesia and is dedicated to providing the best possible care for her patients. Ashley is married to her high school sweetheart and has 3 awesome kids including their family dog, Cooper. You’ll find Ashley and her family spending time out on the boat, going to NFL games, camping in the mountains, or spending the day relaxing on the beach.
